This page does not display completed works. She opens the studio: the breath before the gesture, the ink, the rotation of the body, and what remains on the paper — the trace.
The void
Before form, breath. The large paper remains intact; the inks are waiting. Two presences, on either side, in the silence which precedes the gesture.
The breath and the line
The brush finds its support. The rotation ceases to be an idea to become a direction, a restrained momentum.
The appearance of the circle
The line closes. The enso emerges — not as a drawing, but as the memory of a rotation of the body.
The body and the trace
